Turmann won 7-5 against Amy MacDonald (Stirling, SCO), then won 6-4 against Milija Sullanmaa (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Tallinn Ladies International Challenger Championship title, Turmann earned 17.524 world rankings points along with the $1,753CDN first prize cheque. Turmann move up 36 spots after posting a net gain of 15.518 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 93rd overall with 36.686 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
