To advance to the championship game, Dropkin won 5-0 over Daniel Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Atkins Curling Supplies Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 9-7 over Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Atkins Curling Supplies Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
Dropkin finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dropkin defeated Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) 10-2, then went on to lose 8-6 against Manitoba's Joshua Friesen. Dropkin responded with a 6-5 win over Steen Sigurdson (Gimli, MB). Dropkin won 5-1 against William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Atkins Curling Supplies Classic, Dropkin take home 19.001 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize.
