After advancing directly to the championship game, Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) lost 7-4 to John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling, held November 27 - December 1, 2019 in Leduc, Alberta.
 
Koe finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Epping 8-7, then won 11-7 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Koe went on to lose 9-6 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON). Koe responded with a 5-3 win over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Koe won 8-3 against Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK), then won 10-4 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling, Koe take home 64.269 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN prize. Koe move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 13.035 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 467.386 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Koe ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 211.219 points earned so far this season.
