Elena Stern (Oberwallis, SUI) qualified for the 2019 Boost National playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-3 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN).

Stern finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stern defeated Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) 7-6, then won 4-3 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) and 5-3 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Stern won 6-2 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
