To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 5-3 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2019 Boost National in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland / Labrador; and won 4-3 over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Boost National in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland / Labrador;
 
Jacobs finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs lost 6-3 to Bottcher, then responded with a 5-1 win over Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Jacobs won 4-2 against Edin, then won 4-3 against Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Boost National Championship title, Jacobs earned 90.791 world rankings points along with the $35,000CDN first prize cheque. Jacobs move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 54.179 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 1st overall with 514.114 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Jacobs ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 367.667 points earned so far this season.
