To advance to the championship game, Stubbs won 7-1 over Melissa Pierce (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Avonair Cash Spiel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 5-4 over Teryn Berlando (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Avonair Cash Spiel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Stubbs finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stubbs defeated Jennifer Scott (Edmonton, ) 8-4, then won 8-6 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) and 6-5 against Ashley Kalk (Leduc County, AB). Stubbs won 9-2 against Ashton Simard (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
