Jamie Sinclair (Charlotte, NC) won 8-6 over Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC) in the Final of the Red Deer Curling Classic, held November 15 - 18, 2019 in Red Deer, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Sinclair won 7-5 over Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals of the 2019 Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 7-2 over Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon, KOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta;
Sinclair finished 5-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair defeated Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) 11-2, then won 7-5 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) and 4-3 against Kim to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 10-5 against Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN). Sinclair responded with a 8-2 win over Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 8-3 against Jodi Vaughan (Calgary, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Red Deer Curling Classic Championship title, Sinclair earned 48.536 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. Sinclair move up 9 spots after posting a net gain of 38.05 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 34th overall with 154.172 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Sinclair ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 91.260 points earned so far this season.
