Cotter won 8-2 against Jason Peckham (Vancouver, BC). In their next game, Cotter plays.

With their runner-up finish at the King Cash Spiel, Cotter take home 14.525 world rankings points along with the $2,700CDN prize, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 110.895 total points.
