In their opening game, Geall defeated Jason Peckham (Vancouver, BC) 7-1, then won 5-4 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) and 8-2 against Rob Dennis (Delta, BC). Geall won 7-6 against Neil Dangerfield ( Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
