Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) won 7-4 over Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC) in the Final of the King Cash Spiel, held September 13 - 15, 2019 at the Golden Ears Curling Club in Maple Ridge, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ryan won 1-0 over Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals
Ryan finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan lost 8-1 to Diane Gushulak (Vancouver , BC), then responded with a 6-5 win over Thompson. Ryan won 6-4 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC), then won 7-2 against Mariah Coloumbe (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Ryan earned 18.848 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 84th place overall with 38.198 total points. Ryan ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.848 points earned so far this season.
