Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Bern, SUI) lost 8-2 to Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oppdal, NOR) in the Final of the Italian Mixed Doubles Cup, held December 12 - 15, 2019 in Pinerolo, Italy. To advance to the championship game, Perret/Rios won 8-3 over Anastasia Moskaleva/Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2019 Italian Mixed Doubles Cup in Pinerolo, Italy; and won 9-1 over Angela Romei/Joel Retornaz (Pinerolo, ITA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Italian Mixed Doubles Cup in Pinerolo, Italy;

Perret/Rios finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios defeated Fiona Simpson/Marco Pascale (SCO/ITA, www) 8-3, then won 9-4 against Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres/Gyorgy Nagy and 6-2 against Oona Kauste/Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Perret/Rios went on to lose 6-5 against Russia's Daria Morozova/Daniil Goryachev. Perret/Rios responded with a 9-3 win over Daina Barone/Arnis Veidemanis (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Italian Mixed Doubles Cup, Perret/Rios take home 29.888 world rankings points along with the $1,096CDN prize, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -15.27 after improving upon their best so far this season. Perret/Rios ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 153.914 points earned so far this season.
