Sofia Mabergs/Brady Scharback (Sweden/Canada, www) won 7-3 over Emily Haupstein/Nathen Pomedli (Weyburn, SK) in the Final of the Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic, held August 30 - September 2, 2019 at the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Mabergs/Scharback won 6-5 over Bobbie Sauder/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 8-3 over Ashley Quick/Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Mabergs/Scharback finished 3-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mabergs/Scharback defeated Ellen Redlick/Ian Naismith (North Battleford, SK) 7-1, then won 8-3 against Jill de Gooijer/Garret Springer (Regina, SK) and 10-7 against Sauder/Bottcher in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Mabergs/Scharback earned 22.244 world rankings points along with the $1,620CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 22.244 total points. Mabergs/Scharback ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.244 points earned so far this season.
