Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 12-3 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI). of the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge in Moncton, New Brunswick;

McEvoy finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McEvoy defeated Nova Scotia's Amanda Colter 7-5, then went on to lose 8-2 against Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB). McEvoy responded with a 9-8 win over Mary-Anne Arsenault (Darthmouth, NS). McEvoy went on to lose 9-2 against New Brunswick's Justine Comeau in their final qualifying round match.

McEvoy earned 9.563 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 79th place overall with 51.920 total points.
