Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-2 against Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON). of the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge in Moncton, New Brunswick;

MacDougall finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDougall lost 6-3 to Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 6-4 win over Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS). MacDougall went on to lose 7-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). MacDougall responded with a 7-1 win over Nova Scotia's Andrew Gibson. MacDougall won 7-4 against Ed Cyr (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDougall earned 7.610 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 43.113 total points. MacDougall ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.069 points earned so far this season.
