Meachem finished 3-1 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Meachem lost 9-4 to Saskatchewan's Michael Carss, then responded with a 9-2 win over Ben Gamble (Regina, SK). Meachem won 6-1 against Kody Hartung (Langenburg, SK), then won 5-4 against Saskatchewan's Cody Sutherland in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Farmers Edge SCT Championship title, Meachem earned 18.706 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 67th place overall with 80.523 total points. Meachem ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 66.736 points earned so far this season.
