To advance to the championship game, Grattan won 6-4 over Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2019 Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 7-1 over Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Grattan are currently 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan defeated Ed Cyr (Fredericton, NB) 6-4, then went on to lose 5-2 against Stuart Thompson (Dartmouth, NS).
