To advance to the championship game, Walker won 5-4 over Tabitha Peterson (McFarland , USA) in the semifinals of the 2019 Curl Mesabi Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota, United States; and won 8-3 over Minnesota's Kim Rhyme in the quarterfinals.

In their opening game, Walker defeated Abbey Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND) 10-1, then won 7-4 against Minnesota's Kim Rhyme and 8-2 against Jamie Sinclair (Charlotte, NC). Walker won 9-3 against Christine McMakin (Minneapolis, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
