Sauder/Bottcher went on to lose 8-6 against Alexandra Agre/Derrick McLean (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic playoffs earned Sauder/Bottcher 15.278 world rankings points, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.336 after improving upon their best so far this season. Sauder/Bottcher ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.286 points earned so far this season.
