Paulova/Paul lost 7-5 to Kelsey Rocque/Tristan Steinke (Edmonton, AB) where Paulova/Paul responded with a 7-5 win over Alberta's Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres in their final qualifying round match.

Paulova/Paul earned 8.594 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -11.008 after improving upon their best so far this season. Paulova/Paul ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 120.802 points earned so far this season.
