Harty finished 3-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harty defeated Kalem Hamilton (Edmonton, AB) 6-3, then won 8-3 against Warren Cross (Edmonton, AB) and 6-4 against 's Cole Adams in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Harty earned 19.811 world rankings points along with the $3,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 118.286 total points.
