In their opening game, Jang/Seong defeated Courtney Smith/Hamish Walker (Naseby, NZL) 9-1, then won 8-6 against Gill/Hewitt and 8-3 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, CAN). Jang/Seong won 5-4 against Jessica Smith/Ben Smith (Naseby, NZL), then won 9-5 against Eszter Juhasz/Markku Uusipaavalniemi (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
