Emma Wiens/James Hom (Weyburn, SK) 8-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Chaelynn Kitz/Brayden Stewart (Saskatoon, SK). Thevenot/Kalthoff responded with a 8-3 win over Sherry Just/Chad Gareau (Saskatoon, SK). Thevenot/Kalthoff won 7-5 against Saskatchewan's Kelcee Kennedy/David Baum. Thevenot/Kalthoff went on to lose 8-3 against Kaitlyn Lawes/Connor Lawes (Winnipeg, MB). Thevenot/Kalthoff responded with a 7-2 win over Saskatchewan's Carla Sawicki/Ben Gamble in their final qualifying round match.
