Quick/Armstrong responded with a 5-4 win over Ying Yang/Zhi Ling (Beijing, CHN). Quick/Armstrong won 7-6 against Saskatchewan's Danielle Schmiemann/Jason Ginter. Quick/Armstrong went on to lose 7-6 against Campbell/Dunstone. Quick/Armstrong responded with a 9-6 win over Sun/Zhang in their final qualifying round match.

Quick/Armstrong earned 22.306 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Highland Mixed Doubles Classic, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 17.054 after improving upon their best so far this season. Quick/Armstrong ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 84.240 points earned so far this season.
