Brittany Tran/Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2020 Highland Mixed Doubles Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Jolene Campbell/Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK). of the 2020 Highland Mixed Doubles Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Tran/Sluchinski finished 4-2 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tran/Sluchinski defeated Suyuan Fan/Jiawen Nan (Beijing, CHN) 7-3, then went on to lose 9-2 against Chaelynn Kitz/Brayden Stewart (Saskatoon, SK). Tran/Sluchinski responded with a 7-4 win over Saskatchewan's Stephanie Todd/Kyle Cherpin. Tran/Sluchinski won 9-8 against Jill de Gooijer/Garret Springer (Regina, SK). Tran/Sluchinski went on to lose 6-4 against Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI). Tran/Sluchinski responded with a 7-0 win over Michelle Englot/Derek Schneider (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Tran/Sluchinski earned 15.746 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Highland Mixed Doubles Classic, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 20.264 total points. Tran/Sluchinski ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.264 points earned so far this season.
