Fan/Nan went on to lose 7-6 against Michelle Englot/Derek Schneider (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Fan/Nan earned 1.968 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.62 after improving upon their best so far this season.
