Gina Aitken/Scott Andrews (Stirling, SCO) finished 1-4 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Aitken/Andrews lost 10-3 to World's Maia Ramsfjell/Duncan McFadzean, droppimg another game, 7-6 to Jayne Stirling/Fraser Kingan (Dumfries, SCO) where Aitken/Andrews responded with a 8-2 win over Daina Barone/Arnis Veidemanis (Riga, LAT). Aitken/Andrews went on to lose 7-1 against Mili Smith/Ross Paterson (Stirling, SCO). Aitken/Andrews lost 9-1 to Eve Muirhead/Bobby Lammie (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Aitken/Andrews earned 1.445 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.446 after improving upon their best so far this season. Aitken/Andrews ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 85.946 points earned so far this season.
