In their opening game, Ontario's Owen Purdy defeated Graeme Weagle (Halifax, NS) 9-8, then went on to lose 10-1 against Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB). Ontario's Owen Purdy lost 7-6 to Jayden King (Kingston, ON) where Ontario's Owen Purdy responded with a 5-4 win over Quebec's Greg Cheal. Ontario's Owen Purdy won 9-8 against Weagle, then won 9-4 against Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Ontario's Owen Purdy went on to lose 9-2 against Chase Sinnett (Chaska, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
