Burton finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burton lost 6-4 to Alberta's Ben Kiist, then responded with a 6-1 win over James Ballance (Okotokes, AB). Burton won 9-2 against Alberta's Kaleb Rauhala, then won 7-6 against Wyatt Wright (Cochrane, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
