Howald/Hess lost 8-7 to Lisa Gisler/Romano Meier (Baden, SUI) where Howald/Hess responded with a 12-5 win over Lara Stocker/Nicola Stoll (St. Gallen, SUI). Howald/Hess went on to lose 8-3 against Lea Huppi/Jonas Weiss (Kusnacht, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Howald/Hess earned 7.190 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Howald/Hess did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
