Barbezat/De Cruz finished 5-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barbezat/De Cruz defeated Carole Howald/Jan Hess (Burgdorf, SUI) 9-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Alina Paetz/Sven Michel (Aarau, SUI). Barbezat/De Cruz lost 7-6 to Lea Huppi/Jonas Weiss (Kusnacht, SUI) where Barbezat/De Cruz responded with a 12-3 win over Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI). Barbezat/De Cruz won 10-3 against Lara Stocker/Nicola Stoll (St. Gallen, SUI), then won 7-5 against Lisa Gisler/Romano Meier (Baden, SUI) and 11-3 against Laura Engler/Marco Hefti (St. Gallen, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the SWISSCURLING Mixed Doubles Championship, Barbezat/De Cruz take home 35.149 world rankings points.
