Emily Deschenes (Manotick, ON) lost 9-8 to Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Ontario U21 Girls Provincials, held December 27 - 30, 2019 at the Guelph Curling Club in Guelph, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Deschenes won 8-4 over Maddy Warriner (Listowel, ON) in the semifinals
 
Deschenes finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deschenes lost 6-3 to Kayla Gray (Perth, ON), then responded with a 9-8 win over Rachel Steele (Port Perry, ON). Deschenes went on to lose 6-4 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Deschenes responded with a 8-2 win over Warriner. Deschenes won 7-3 against Lindsay Thorne (Ottawa, ON). Deschenes went on to lose 9-5 against Sutherland. Deschenes responded with a 7-5 win over Mackenzie Kiemele (Elora, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
