Irantzu Garcia (Iparpolo, ESP) lost 10-7 to Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastien, ESP) in the Final of the Spanish Womens National Championship, held February 28 - March 8, 2020 in Jaca, Spain. To advance to the championship game, Garcia won 13-3 over Nerea Torralba (Pirineo, ESP) in the semifinals

Garcia finished 4-1 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Garcia defeated Oihane Ruiz (Harrikada, ESP) 12-3, then won 7-4 against Aroa Amilibia (Val d'Aran, ESP) and 7-4 against Alba Garcia (Barcelona, ESP). Garcia won 9-5 against Torralba. Garcia went on to lose 6-4 against Otaegi in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Spanish Womens National Championship, Garcia take home 4.703 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Garcia did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Garcia ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
