In their opening game, Saturnino defeated Larry Greenland (Inuvik, NT) 7-5, then went on to lose 8-1 against Mel Sittichinli (Inuvik, NT). Saturnino lost 6-3 to Mark Robertson (Inuvik, NT) where Saturnino responded with a 10-3 win over Robertson. Saturnino went on to lose 4-1 against Sittichinli. Saturnino responded with a 8-2 win over Greenland in their final qualifying round match.
