To advance to the championship game, Sutherland/Ryn won 10-4 over Casey Kidd/Brad Kidd (Peterborough, ON) in the semifinals of the 2019 Bayview Mixed Doubles in Toronto, Ontario; and won 9-1 over Sheri Greenman/Michael Zuliani (Unionville, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Bayview Mixed Doubles in Toronto, Ontario;

Sutherland/Ryn finished 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sutherland/Ryn defeated Jessica Shipmaker/Mike Aprile (Newmarket, ON) 9-4, then won 10-2 against Erin Way/Jeremy Way (Courtice, ON). Sutherland/Ryn went on to lose 9-8 against Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck Jr. (Ilderton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Bayview Mixed Doubles, Sutherland/Ryn take home 18.542 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 29.068 total points.
