To advance to the championship game, Curtis won 7-6 over Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2019 Cabot Spiel in St. John's;

Curtis finished 3-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Curtis lost 6-5 to Wendy Dunne (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 8-3 win over Strong. Curtis went on to lose 5-3 against Mitchell. Curtis responded with a 5-0 win over Lauren Barron (St. John's, NL). Curtis won 8-5 against Mackenzie Glynn (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Cabot Spiel, Curtis take home 0.000 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize.
