Barker finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker defeated Kyla Thies (Regina, SK) 6-4, then won 8-1 against Shalon Fleming (Regina, SK) and 8-2 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Saskatoon Nutana SWCT Event Championship title, Barker earned 20.636 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque.
