Kajanova won 6-4 against Marharyta Dziashuk (Minsk, BLR), then won 8-5 against Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.

Kajanova earned 5.210 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 71 spots the World Ranking Standings into 196th place overall with 5.835 total points. Kajanova ranks 166th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.210 points earned so far this season.
