Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-5 over Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB) in the Final of the Thistle Integrity Stakes, held November 29 - December 2, 2019 at the Thistle Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Grassie won 7-4 over Corey Chambers (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Thistle Integrity Stakes in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 9-5 over Ryan Hlatkey (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Thistle Integrity Stakes in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

Grassie finished 5-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grassie defeated Steen Sigurdson (Gimli, MB) 5-4, then went on to lose 6-3 against Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB). Grassie responded with a 8-7 win over Graham McFarlane (Winnipeg, MB). Grassie won 5-3 against Ty Dilello (Winnipeg, MB). Grassie went on to lose 8-5 against Muntain. Grassie responded with a 8-5 win over Kyle McCannell (Pilot Mound, MB). Grassie won 8-5 against Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Thistle Integrity Stakes Championship title, Grassie earned 16.904 world rankings points along with the $1,300CDN first prize cheque. Grassie move up 13 spots after posting a net gain of 14.1 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 52nd overall with 94.255 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Grassie ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 80.236 points earned so far this season.
