Berube won 8-4 against Sylvain Bellavance (Boucherville, QC), then won 10-5 against Gregory Bornais (Trois-Rivieres, QC) and 9-4 against Stephane Brabant (Boucherville, QC). Berube won 8-4 against Cheal. Berube went on to lose 8-5 against Scott Hill (Ormstown, QC). Berube responded with a 5-4 win over Bornais in their final qualifying round match.
