Scott Hill (Ormstown, QC) finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hill defeated Jeffrey Fischer (Des Collines, QC) 7-4, then won 6-4 against Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC) and 5-3 against Stephane Brabant (Boucherville, QC). Hill went on to lose 10-2 against Greg Balsdon (Montreal, QC). Hill responded with a 8-5 win over Alex Berube (Mont-Bruno, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Tankard Qualifier, Hill take home 7.838 world rankings points. For week 21 of the event schedule, Hill did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hill ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
