Podoll/Parry3-3 at USA Mixed Doubles Challenge Round

Ann Podoll/Nathan Parry (Fargo, ND) finished 3-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Podoll/Parry defeated Sulisse Munich/Tom Munich (Charlotte , NC) 8-7, then went on to lose 7-6 against Wisconsin's Nicole Bookhout/Dan Wiza. Podoll/Parry lost 1-0 to North Dakota's Michelle Wagner/Daniel Buresh where Podoll/Parry responded with a 11-7 win over Indiana's Mandy Gangwer/Robert Binns. Podoll/Parry won 8-3 against North Dakota's Taylor Drees/Joe Heiden. Podoll/Parry went on to lose 6-3 against Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.

Podoll/Parry earned 2.109 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.11 after improving upon their best so far this season. Podoll/Parry ranks 92nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.978 points earned so far this season.
