Froud responded with a 8-6 win over Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). Froud went on to lose 10-9 against Kaitlyn Jones (Toronto, ON). Froud responded with a 9-2 win over Brandwood in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the CurlON Women's Cash Spiel Championship title, Froud earned 20.150 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 68th place overall with 63.396 total points. Froud ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 43.254 points earned so far this season.
