Kaila Buchy (Kimberly, BC) won 7-6 over Jensen Taylor (Royal City, BC) in the Final of the BC Junior Womens Provincial Championship, held December 28 - January 2, 2020 in Victoria, British Columbia.
 
Buchy finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Buchy lost 7-3 to Gracelyn Richards (Comox Valley, BC), then responded with a 8-6 win over Taylor. Buchy won 8-5 against Elizabeth Bowles (Delta Thistle, BC), then won 9-5 against Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC) and 11-4 against Rebecca Douglas (Victoria, BC). Buchy went on to lose 10-3 against Maeve Calhoun (Kamloops, BC). Buchy responded with a 9-7 win over Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
