Nowlan finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nowlan lost 11-3 to Marin, then responded with a 9-2 win over Jamie Stewart (Saint John, NB). Nowlan won 9-4 against Alex Peasley (Oromocto, NB), then won 9-7 against Marin and 8-4 against Stewart. Nowlan went on to lose 8-6 against Marin in their final qualifying round match.
