To advance to the championship game, Forsythe won 6-5 over Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2020 New Brunswick Papa John's Pizza U21 Championships in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Forsythe finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forsythe defeated Olivia Wynter (Moncton, NB) 9-3, then went on to lose 9-5 against Comeau. Forsythe responded with a 9-5 win over Brooke Tracy (Fredericton, NB). Forsythe won 6-5 against Comeau, then won 8-2 against Wynter and 6-2 against Comeau in their final qualifying round match.
