Jonathon Vellinga (Kakabeka Falls, NONT) finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vellinga defeated Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) 6-4, then went on to lose 5-1 against Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Vellinga responded with a 6-5 win over Lemieux. Vellinga went on to lose 7-3 against Horgan in their final qualifying round match.
