Jed Brundidge (West St. Paul, MN) finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brundidge defeated Mike Siggins (Mesa, AZ) 8-3, then won 9-3 against Nick Myers (Arlington, TX) and 9-2 against Luc Violette (Lake Stevens, WA). Brundidge won 7-4 against Dominik Maerki (Fayetteville, AR) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA Men's Challenge Round Championship title, Brundidge earned 14.625 world rankings points.
