Dominik Maerki (Fayetteville, AR) finished 4-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maerki defeated Ryan Spielman (South Beloit, IL) 7-3, then won 7-3 against Kevin Kakela (Rolla, ND) and 8-7 against Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA). Maerki went on to lose 7-4 against Jed Brundidge (West St. Paul, MN). Maerki lost 10-4 to Kakela where Maerki responded with a 11-1 win over Steven Birklid (Mountlake Terrace, WA) in their final qualifying round match.

Maerki earned 8.288 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Men's Challenge Round. For week 24 of the event schedule, Maerki did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Maerki ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
