Homan won 9-2 against Julie Hastings (Stouffville, ON), then won 7-5 against Megan Balsdon (Woodstock, ON) and 9-4 against Jacqueline Harrison (Dundas, ON). Homan won 9-3 against Duncan, then won 9-7 against Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 20.700 world rankings points. Homan gained -36.723 points improving upon their best 8 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 8thplace overall with 276.839 total points.
