Howard responded with a 6-4 win over Jason Camm (Ottawa, ON). Howard won 6-4 against Steve Allen (Ottawa, ON), then won 10-7 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) and 6-4 against Mark Kean (London, ON). Howard went on to lose 9-5 against Epping. Howard responded with a 12-7 win over Matthew Hall (Kitchener, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Tankard, Howard take home 16.748 world rankings points. Howard move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 11.958 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 213.982 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
